September 18, 2007 —Las Vegas Corrections Center Taps Omnilink Systems for House Arrest ProgramAfter testing four competing offender monitoring solutions, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department selected Omnilink Systems' advanced wireless offender monitoring solution for the Clark County Detention Center house arrest program. Prior to implementing the advanced Omnilink solution, authorities could not track offender movements outside the home; they only knew where offenders were located when they "checked-in" their devices at their home bases.
