



Omnilink Systems, a leader in location-based services (LBS) technology, today announced the promotion of Daniel Graff-Radford to Vice President of Judicial Solutions. Effective immediately, Graff-Radford will lead Omnilink's judicial sales and account management initiatives for federal, state and local agencies.
With one of the largest prison systems in the U.S., Texas, like many other states, faces prison overcrowding issues. To alleviate the strains on the system, Victim Safety First provides alternatives to incarceration in several Texas counties. Today, the organization announced that it is using Omnlink's offender monitoring solution to track the movements of participants in the program.
Charlotte Mecklenburg County Police Department (CMPD) is leveraging the GPS/cellular electronic monitoring solution from Omnilink to track offenders awaiting trial on a variety of crimes. The tracking program has enabled the county and community to monitor individuals that have been released on bond to ensure that they appear for their trial , and to help ensure that they do not commit additional crimes while they are awaiting trial.
